Dotty for Fred Perry

That's what I like to see! Fred Perry and polka dots for some spring-summer fun. The latest collection screams Nautical and Feminine with spots and stripes all over the show.

This is probably the nicest Fred wear I have seen since Richard Nicoll AW2011 (Recap below).

Florence & The Jewellery Making Machine

Not only is Florence Welch wonderfully pale and musically talented, she is also now a jewellery designer.

The online shop is named 'Flotique' and features a very small range of jewellery (so far). There's a bird cage ring quirkily matching the tattoo on her finger (below) and the entire collection is said to be inspired by her album 'Ceremonials'.

In general the collection is nice, not offensive, a bit 80's, a bit art deco and suitable to wear with most outfits I would expect.

"Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn"

The beautiful and handsome Clark Gable created from chalk and charcoal. How perfect is this?!

If you need any art to make you, your walls or your family happy I advise that you contact the talented chap behind this piece of art and many others.

Based in London and able to create almost anything is Mr Altin Halil: al@altinhalil.co.uk

The man can also work his wonders on digital design. To get in touch email the address above or take a look at his site HERE.

By the way chaps...it is almost Valentines day, a commissioned and fairly priced piece of art would get you some good brownie points (and probably some trouser action).

Hella Good Collaboration

Fred Perry and No Doubt are two of my favourite things, imagine my happiness on discovering a collaboration betweeen the two.

The band have worked closely with the design team at Fred Perry to create a collection of classic styles which honor No Doubt's ska and reggae roots.

The collection includes a limited edition slim fit polo shirt for the lady and gentleman and will be released in early January. There is also a punk inspired tartan check V neck sweater and bomber made available in Spring 2013.

"Fred Perry is a classic inspiration that has been part of our style since the beginning. Doing this collaboration is an honor." - Gwen

I can't say that I am actually too thrilled about the sweater and bomber jacket but the polo shirt is pretty scrumptious.

Oh no. No, no, no, no, no. Meggings?!

I have seen some bad things in my 27 years on earth but nothing prepared me for this. I personally think they are about as impressive as an ingrown pubic hair, equally painful too...'Meggings'.

Patrick Kingsley gives a lower half of awful a test run. The Guardian.

Meggings: They really are exactly what you think- if you understand that a 'manny' is a male nanny and 'metro sexual' means a gay straight man (he doesn't kiss boys but isn't afraid to sing a show tune or bake cupcakes).

Apparently taking the fashion world by storm are leggings for men, who would have thought?! In a world where UGG boots and Harem pants are still manufactured and sold, I am not surprised.

Is there a situation in which it is ok to wear leggings if you are male? Why yes of course if you are:

a) Robin Hood/ playing Robin Hood in Pantomime this year

b) In a Van Halen cover band

c) Skiing and trying to prevent frost bite UNDER OTHER CLOTHING

d) Imitating a hipster in American Apparel disco pants because it is Halloween

e) An Olympian

f) David Bowie

If you too want to look like an emotionally unstable person you can go along to American Apparel (of course) and purchase your very own pair of meggings, advertised as 'long underwear' they still do the trick.

This guy got it right

I see no excuse for a man wearing these, apart from the fact that they look disgusting they are extremely impractical. Meggings do not have pockets- this would mean that along with meggings a man bag would have to be used, encouraging two awful things for the sake of your phone, keys and change.

To make things ok again I had to google image search 'Dolly Parton Christmas'. You are welcome....
